Trends in the OB GYN Oral Board Exam

For those candidates taking the Oral Ob Gyn boards in 2007 and beyond, please be aware of the following trends that have been noted regarding questions appearing in the exam:
Since 2001: Urogynecology is strongly emphasized
Since 2002: Primary Care is strongly emphasized
2006: Peri-operative complications
Additional issues that appeared for the first time in the 2006 exam which all future candidates should be ready to answer:
'Hard Core' Internal Medicine (as opposed to Ob/Gyn):
Management of asthma
Management of hypertension
Management of angina
Management of diarrhea (in multiple different settings)
Management of dyslipidemia
Management of chronic headache
Management of depression
OB topics:
HPV vaccination
